The MTV Movie Award ceremony on Saturday night got the virtual alarm game right when a virtual reality version of the film The Dark Knight Rises was used as a backdrop.
As with the original version of The Dark Tower, the game was inspired by the real-life crime drama The Darkest Hour, but the real movie, The Dark Half, had a twist.
Instead of a dystopian version of New York City, the film takes place in the 1920s, when a small group of young men (played by the original actors) are lured into a plot to take over a movie theater.
They are then lured to an underground meeting where they are murdered by a group of masked gunmen.
The game’s version of that scene is more like a thriller than a film.
The original film’s video game, The Last Exorcism, was the inspiration for the virtual version.
In the real world, the last exorcism in the film was performed by an American actress in a wheelchair.
